My Web Development Process

Posted on Sun 07 Nov 2004 (2616 reads)

I use, to as great an extent as possible, the Fusebox Lifecycle Process (FLiP). This process consists of the following steps:

  1. Wireframing
  2. Prototyping
  3. Coding
  4. Testing
  5. Public Release

Rather than reinventing the wheel, here's a link to an article that describes this process in detail: http://www.fusebox.org/go/about/faq/flip-faq

In addition to following this process, I employ a number of tools that make each step as easy and efficient as possible. Several of the web sites in my Portfolio were developed using this process and thus, many of the tools and techniques have been refined, further minimizing the time required for each step.

The fuseaction=methodology.stepsis no longer valid with the new website design. Have posted something in the forums on fusebox.org but thought you might want to update it here.

Thanks for the note. I've updated the link to point to the FAQ.
